I just got the update but have not installed it yet.
I have Cubase 4 installed on partition E:
I have Cubase SX3 on D:, and this is where CSR was installed all along, its presets elsewhere under IK Multimedia and the CSR.dll's and CSR.ini's in the SX3/VSTPlugins sufolder.
CSR shows up in Cubase 4 under previous plugins and works EXCELLENT without having moved copies of the CSR.dll's anywheres
So how do I install the new install? All the presets are on D:, nothing yet on E: I dont want to interfere with the CSR's in SX3, cause the VST2.4 may not work there....
Will this make a mess?

I do think that is required as maybe, maybe, SX3 will not be able to run it anymore? As it is the new VST2.4 versio?Kim (esoundz) wrote:Hang on, are you wanting to have CSR1.0 and CSR1.1 both installed at the same time?
-Kim.
This is the Cubase 4 compatibility issue.
I need it to work in both SX3 and Cubase 4

I suggest you contact IK support. We try to help here on this forum, but technical questions like this really need to go to the right people.
Meanwhile, if CSR1.0 is working well in SX3 and 4 then you should be able to continue working with it. 1.1 only adds Universal Binary support for Macs and removes the requirement for the USB key, so if you've already got it running there's no real hurry to upgrade.

Actually, that is the answer I needed.Kim (esoundz) wrote:I suggest you contact IK support. We try to help here on this forum, but technical questions like this really need to go to the right people.

I'd rather keep things as they are and now I know I should leave be.
