Merkabah (Revisited) - Genre: NOT Downtempo

This is a piece that I posted here a while ago. I've since changed it slightly and given it a shiny, new name. It's called Merkabah (which is roughly what Ezekiel was describing in his famous desert vision of the unearthly Chariot with the myriad eyes and wheels within wheels). This is NOT down-tempo...more of a coiled-energy/throwing off sparks and incandescent flashes. (When I first made it...it was kinda a throw-away for me. It has since become one of my favorites. Go figure!)
Merkabah can be found at
www.hislefthand.com
(In the player it's currently called "Heckaloth" and it's way down the page...Although this may be corrected by the time you get around to reading this.) You can also download individually or as part of the CD "Bardo Songs." The download version is at doubled the mp3 resolution and more polished...if that's the word.
or at:
www.myspace.com/hislefthand
Feedback, here or at any of the above joints is greatly appreciated.

I like the track but I think perhaps that it's a little long winded. There are a few parts (around the four minute point for instance) that drag a little. I dig the sound of the track though.
By the by where abouts the Commonwealth do you live?

Ezekiel! Always loved those descriptions... this is just a mad track! Frantic pace, and you just keep the sound buffet going. Excellent as always!

Is this a remake of the original 'Heckaloth'?
Sort of simultaneously calm and frantic - top notch production as always.

polite company -> thanks for the listen...cambridge. Are you in Boston...or environs?
polyslax -> thanks, friend!
dystonia -> great description...yep, it's "Heckaloth" slightly buffed and burnished. You really heard and described what I was going for calm/frantic. Thanks for the feedback.

Thanks for the listen, laputa_sync. "wibbly wobbly" - eh? Have I inadvertently created a new genre?

And Wibbly Wobbly is totally where it's at.
