I've had this problem, sometimes the upload doesn't work right. Try clicking the alternate upload link on the upload page, this gets you to an upload form without a progress bar which I found to be more reliable. Also, there are some size restrictions, check that you haven't exceeded those. Usually a track should be processed quite quickly, in minutes even.

Some poeple have a little flash player installed that allows a bundle of tracks to be played. Is this only available for regular profile, or is there some way to substitute the clunky 'artist' four-track specimen?

I'm not on myspace, but one of my friends is (well, it's my close friend's sister). If you're into atmospheric darkness, go ahead.. She is playing in several extreme metal bands, she's gorgeous on keys and has a strangely beautiful voice..

Just get rid of the Myspace player by deleting all the tracks, then you can load up a flash player...

The music player on the page currently has 106 tracks in it. Adding new ones and decent tracks from the archives all the time. The mp3 player is the geekkid version of XSPF Player which is now fully skinnable, if you have somewhere to host files and want something other than the myflashfetish player.

Good sounds, but your page is a bit messed up.
Sending you a friend request was... difficult as all those links seem to be way off centre.

The ones in the right hand column do nothing and the ones in the left hand column do what the right should do. To find the ones in the left column means hovering your mouse aimlessly in the middle of nowhere and hoping for the best.

Get over yerself.

The reason that is there is because Myspace is infested with fake profiles that just spam advertisements and links to spyware in comment sections. If you don't contact me prior to sending a friend request, I'll assume you're a fake profile and deny the request as to not get, "omg, u want male enhancement??" and "track who's looking at ur profile klik heer!" comments on my page. It's also why I block HTML comments, incase I accidentally accept a fake profile.
