So given the AudioMidi.com huge price drop of Kore(1) it looks highly probable that Kore 2 will be out soon!
I'm hoping that now Kore has been de-dongled that it also means software-only Kore is due imminently too...

a) Kore's barely been out for a year. An update that quickly for hardware would be business suicide.
b) It's been de-dongled and software-only since 1.1.
It's much more likely that there is a sale to (maybe?) poor sales of Kore... I'd also say Reaktor 6 is more probable.

haha I just re-read the post and understood what you meant. Sorry. Yeah, actually, there is a possibility that they would do a Guitar Rig style release with the software only... but to me that kind of ruins some of the functionality of Kore.

They'd probably be happy to- if they had the manpower. There's only about thirty people over at NI actually involved with the programming end of things, and they've got a lot of product lines to handle. If they farm it out to their preset designers, this means the preset designer has to have the app in question, plus it leaves things open to interpretation (I can almost guarantee that what I want to see on an EA page isn't what you want, for exampleJonathanDragonDJ wrote:instead of releasing a new one...they should makes this one better....like pre-program it to work with more non-NI vsts.........

As I said, who's going to do the work? Assigning attributes is the most tedious part of the whole thing in my opinion; it definitely takes a while.JonathanDragonDJ wrote:well they weren't afraid to decide what i want to see on all my ni pages.....but i more mean integrating into the preset browser....i like searching for sounds based on keywords....its nice!
