Sidenote:
regarding GUI plugins, GVST suite ( http://www.gvst.co.uk/ ) would pretty much round things up. Add the rest of the Smartelectronix collection (i.e. Mdsp classic suite http://mdsp.smartelectronix.com/classic/) and you are ready to rock in the spotlight!

Ariesverb would also be a good candidate (no GUI, great quality). The MDA stuff, too! Oh - must have SimulAnalog Guitar Suite!!!
