I heard that one new hardware machine is out that generates kick drum's for electronic music.
Anyone heard of something like this or maybe tested it? If so please send me some links, cause i dont know what's it called.

I've seen lots of 4-piece drum kits for $1500, which would put the kick drum at $375. So all in, you're looking at something strangely equivalent.

If you know your way around a soldering iron there's a pretty popular clone of the DS7 (better for kicks) and DS8 (has noise gen for snares). A lot of people have built these and there are a lot of resource around if you need help. There's a dedicated thread on Electro-Music.com
