As a happy user of Cross fade loop synth I'm of course interested in the upgrade to version 3.
I wonder, if I buy version 3 will the FX-version of this plugin have all the functionality found in Meringue 2?
Will I be able to use both Loops Synth 2 and 3? I kind of like the simple GUI in version 2 for some situations.

While there are similarities, Meringue works in a fundamentally different way to XFLS, so you'll never be able to get the exact effect of one in the other. But try the demo - if you think you'll get use out of XFLS 3 and not Meringue, save yourself some money.
XFLS 2 & 3 won't co-exist - they use the same plugin identifier, without which most apps wouldn't show you presets for 2 in 3.
