infected mushroom among others seem to be able to make a snyth sound like a human sorta thing?!

any ideas?

If you're looking for a specific sound you may want to mention what song you're talking about (though I personally am not familiar with infected mushroom) but there are several possibilities to try with VSTs.

There are both VSTi synths with vowel filters or VST effects with formanting filters. Formant Shifter, Formant Filter, Syng, Smokey Joe, Voc-One, BeatVox and Vursyn Cantor come to mind...

my mate suggested formant filters, where i can find these, any vst plugins that feture this or vst audio effects, or hardware possibly?

or could i create one?
