Hello,

I was thinking of trading in my Korg Triton rack to buy a Roland V-synth XT. I am still in two minds about it. However, would buying a Moss Board maybe give my Triton Rack new life? Has anyone out there got the Triton and Moss board and can help with my decision. Hopefully you can also give me your views on what you think of both The Roland and Korg machines. Plus would you keep the Ensoniq DP 4+ effects unit or sell for 250 euros?

Thanks

Moss board definitely gives some new life to Triton. Though it is up to 6 poly and even though you can use more than 1 part from the Moss they all should share the same fx depth setting as far as I know. This would be a problem if you would like a dry bass sound along with a lead part with lots of delay and reverb, at the same time. The rest of Triton would still be useful as a rompler. V-Synth is just a total different and exciting animal. I'd go for Triton+Moss if I already like the rompler part of Triton and Moss would be a great addon. Otherwise I'd totally get rid of it and go for V-Synth, as a performance synth.
