grymmjack and tplusj
I have a new dll for you guys to try out to see if it it fixes the issue you both had with the modulator.
I have sent it to grymmjack already and am waiting to hear back from him.
tplusj....can you email me and I will send you it also.
You 2 guys were still the only ones experiencing this but I think we traced it down, so I need you 2 guys to test it.
Thanks guys
Paul

it seems to be fixed paul
thanks very much. could you ask the coder to do the same for the dks pro -- i assume because it's the same programmer he might be reusing stuff in his dks pro drumsynth as well (which also was having issues). i've been messing with manyone for a few hours now and no problems. there is still a little bit of increase in cpu on release but it's nowhere near what it was. it jumps up to about 25% or so on release now, whereas before it used to jump up extremely high.

The issue seems to be resolved for me, also. I spent about an hour playing with ManyOne, and I didn't experience any problems. In fact, I didn't notice any CPU increase on release with the new dll on my computer.
Thanks, Paul, for checking into this issue. Not every developer would put so much energy into investigating an issue that had been reported by only two users. Your unwavering commitment to customer service is among several reasons that ManyTone is one of my favorite developers.

CPU jump after relelasing the keys with certain sounds? Yes, I have experienced that as well. I've just been busy with other stuff lately so I haven't got around to report it. But it's resolved now apparently so I suppose the update will be available soon?

Hello, If there is any chance that there will be an update to manyone would it be possible to look at the knob functions and maybe add an option for linear operation and turn off the jump to position.
Thanks
Thanks

I've come across another issue and it seems to be with the VST version on both Mac and PC (The AU version doesn't seem to do it). When either in Mono or Legato mode, notes seem to get stuck after a fashion. In Poly mode things work fine. When They get stuck, a single note seems to get held until I hit stop.
Now here's the funky part. I only get this problem to occur if I'm using Ableton Live (latest version) and using my computer keyboard as a midi keyboard. I do not get the problem with my midi controller (Edirol PCR-M50). Also, this problem doesn't happen with any other plugins that I've tried. Strange eh?
*EDIT*
After further investigation I found this is an Ableton Live issue. You can see the midi getting stuck even when no plugin is involved.

Okay, maybe there really is a problem. Is anyone else getting stuck notes with Manyone and Ableton Live? I'm getting stuck notes now no matter what I use for MIDI input (with patches that use legato or mono).theshaggyfreak wrote:I've come across another issue and it seems to be with the VST version on both Mac and PC (The AU version doesn't seem to do it). I would like to track down the problem but I cannot reproduce it.
Both the VST and the AU version share (internally) the same source code for MIDI handling, so the problem should happen on both versions.
Please help me.
Does the problem happen with other hosts? (Garage Band for example)
Are you using a PPC or an Intel MAC?
Which version of OSX and Live are you using?
Thanks,
Aldo

Hi Shaggy
I can send you the ManyOne PC 102 update if you want to give it a try. (Email me .... this for PC version only) It is strange though as Aldo said as no one can reproduce this and you are the only person reporting this so far. I can't help but think the problem lies elsewhere otherwise we should have seen more reports, but we surely will look into this for you as best we can.

To Paul & Manytone...
Just wanted to say thanks for the lightning fast service on my purchase on ManyOne, I think it may have taken me longer to download the files than it did to receive the links, very impressive!
And even if you didn't throw in a bunch of freebies, this is still one of the best deals out there... the best $37.95 I've spent in awhile and I was able to clear out some funds I had laying around in my Paypal account, so double bonus points for me! Nice sounds and lots of parameters to tweak around with, I'm looking forward to using ManyOne!
Thanks again, I'll be back!

Thanks so much for the kind words! Glad you are enjoying ManyOne.
We'll be releasing a ManyOne update officially soon. This will include the new skins. We all got kind of busy here the last months with ManyBass which resulted in further improvements being done to the engine, so we wanted to make sure some of these improvements make it into ManyOne also. Once ManyBass is released then we'll get a ManyOne update out.
Cheers again!
Paul
