if your sampling your windchime post in on Northern Sounds and VI Pro, a lot of people would love to hear your results! Windchime samples are rare, the best multisampled japanese windchimes is Hollow Suns. After that there really isn't anything you can look at the windchimes in Ethno World1 though.

there used to be an akai map there, but it seems to no longer be available.

The Hollow Sun free samples aren't available in Akai any more, but for Alesis Fusion.
There should be wind chimes in the upcoming dBu percussion library for Wusik, and there's no reason not to make that pack vailable in sfz, at least. The percussionist I'm working with has the chimes, we're just working out a session date.

My chimes are here:
http://www.hollowsun.com/downloads/chimes.zip
They're in S5000 format but the wavs can be remapped in anything that will read 'em.
Enjoy ... and thanks for the kind comments.

Yeah - I still have Akai stuff up there though to my shame, it's been a while since I updated that area as my focus has been on the Alesis Fusion.
I put the chimes back up today when I saw this thread.
