Hey Paul,

is their a free crossgrade to kontakt for current owners (I have all three bass kits), or paid? I ask because I have actually just converted my WusikSND's to Kontakt (not knowing you were going to support Kontakt), and I prefer to use this material there... I wonder whether to just use my conversions, or if you are doing presets etc?

Also are you going to do the sitar?

Only 2 of the Bass sets are currently being done in Kontakt format. The Upright and the Ovation Acoustic Electric. If you purchased either of these at the intro special pricing, then you can request the kontakt version for free. (The intro special is still available btw)

I have the Ovation set ready if you want to look at it. It has a few presets included, I also have a basic mapping for the Upright that you can also look at if you wish. I still need to upload all this onto the server though and get the Upright mapping finished properly. Just email me if you want these early.

I think the Sitar should convert easily for you. We may do a kontakt version soon but no promises.

great news indeed! I'd love the Ovation to try out.

I am also interested because in converting the Wusik versions to Kontakt via ESC, I realised that ESC still stores the samples at 32bit, instead of the 16 or 24 bit you would have recorded them at (the ovation sounds are 274mb in wusik, and the kontakt versions converted from wusik).

So, one of the reasons for using them in Kontakt - to save some disk space (although for me not a major reason at all) - is not achieved this way.
