It'll be US$17.50 via our online shop.
Dave,

This is a real surprise!. I was reading recently in Computer Music that you imagined a steady price rise in your plugs due to the amount of research, time etc going into each project. If this is right, do you feel the price reflects the hard work you put in?.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining (I should be thankful!).

Cheers for the great plugins

Tau Pro does an awful lot more than Tau2 does however, so the pricing does have to sit at a relative point below Tau2's price.

As you say though I do believe in general, as an industry, that online plugin prices need to rise. I seem to remember launching Tau Pro at US$20 for example, but it is now at US$35. This reflects the increasing cost of running a professional operation. We have to get programming tools, multiple operating systems, different specifications to test on, host programs and so on just to make sure our products are stable on the wide variety of configurations out there. That's before you even think about the cost of running a large, professionally-designed website like ours :o

Kind regards
Dave

I tend to agree with that.
Happiness is the hidden behind the obvious.

Would it be wrong to post a link here Dave?

Edit: posted in main forum.

Not scared of competition. We know that we've put the hours into the emulation, it'll stand on its own merits.

Yeah...no problem. I'm sure it will. Just been through the mp3 demos and Tau2 definitly does sound pretty close. I am looking forward to it.

I wasn't wanting to post a link to Lush because it will be competition. Please don't think that. I don't think like that (not that I think competition is a bad thing 8)). I only posted it because when I read something like "wish the developers didn't lost the source code" and I know otherwise I feel obliged to put the story straight. I didn't think your thread was the right place to do that so I have posted it in the main forum :)

if you've got a real TB303 in your studio, you're more than welcome to beta test. That goes for anyone else out there too.
