hi all...i didn't find thread on this beautiful and cheap drum library (but i guess lot of people know the free version...) - however, i'm not posting to make advertising....just to ask help! i own EmulatorX 1.5 and bought ns_kit7 (which has only Halion and - right now - Kontact2 presets) because the EMU conversion utility can import Halion preset...unfortunately, i was silly enough to not check WHICH PRESET VERSION can be imported (halion I and II)....but ns_kit7 are Halion 3 only!!! so...is there someone who own ns_kit7 and has converted them/can convert them to a EMU format/a format that can be imported by EMU converter?

EMU converter supports:
- Akai S-1000/3000
- Akai S-5000
- Emu E3/ESi
- Emu Emax II
- Tascam GigaStudio
- SoundFont
- Emagic EXS-24 Mark I and Mark II
- Steinberg HALion I and II

BTW: i'm still trying to avoid buying an extra file converter or Halion player.....

thanks Laputa! had a quick look, gonna check deeper - hope it works for the commercial version too - which has AFAIK only Halion preset....

right, thanks!...i was trying to avoid extra money...

let's see if i'm lucky - btw, some days ago i tried the demo but i wasn't able to load halion's fxp - don't know why, but a pop up appeared telling me i didn't have Halion USB key -

i have cubase dongle, maybe it depends on that....

ExSC will only load HALion 3 fxbs/fxps if it can find the HALion dongle

I can understand that for the HALion hsbs, but for fxbs?

very sad...i agree with you - i don't see the reason for that! considering that Exsc is about 80-90 $ (if i remember correctly), maybe it would be worth to buy Halion Player (129 $ on zzounds, and you have extra sounds)...supposed you need to convert just ns_kit7 Hal programs...however, i already have a sampler, so it's not so good to buy a player just for the kit! BTW, i have to admit that on the web site of ns_kit7 is clearly written that the programs are Halion 3.1 format (and that Halion Player is the perfect companion..)...
we can still hope there's someone who did the conversion (or can wait EMU to include Hal 3 support int their converter!)..

Sorry - those presets will only work for the free version. ns_kit7 (the full version) has extensive Kontakt 2 and HALion 3 presets. Extreme Sample Converter will convert from the Kontakt presets to EmulatorX, I believe.

all right, thanks - on the DVDs i have just Halion programs; is there the possibility to download the Kontakt2 preset? i'd love to try them (well, to be honest i need to do something, since ns_kit7 arrived a couple of month ago and i'm still not able to use it!)
