Impressive for sure, but I wonder about a few things:
How much weight do the motorized tuning pegs and the required battery for them add? This could be a real problem on some guitars.
Then, I probably have customized bridge saddles already (personally, I'm using GraphTechs on my two main guitars), so I don't want to exchange them.
There might be severe tuning problems with vibrato equipped guitars.
There might be further problems when bending strings a lot. That's why you usually tune up from a lower pitch, tuning down most often isn't a btilliant idea as there's almost always some "slips" happening when ending afterwards.
Great idea, but I'm almost sure there's gonna be some impractical issues going along with it in, say, a live context.

There are 3 kinds of people:
Those who can do maths and those who can't.

Hm. If you can't turn it off, it's pointless. They must have thought of these things?Sascha Franck wrote:Impressive for sure, but I wonder about a few things:

Very interesting....mmmm....it might work best whith new guitar whith this feature incorperated.
It sounds like all strings are tuned at the same time and thats one thing you can't do. Depending on what you are playing, probably whith open chords it would save a hell of a lot of time when recording a track. Playing up the fret board maybe not and that is why it might only work best incorporated in a newly designed guitar.
Im not entirely convinced so far.....but interesting all the same.
