Since I got an answer to my last Radiohead-related question I'll try my luck here again. I'm wondering what VSTi would be able to replicate the kind of looping effect used on Thom Yorke's vocals on Everything in its Right Place. I'm know Jonny Greenwood uses a Korg Kaoss pad live and I'm guessing that's what was used on the studio version.
So basically, I'm looking for a VSTi that can take a pre-recorded signal and, via an external MIDI controller, loop, slice, reverse, delay, pitch shift, time stretch and/or completely mangle the signal on the fly with minimal artifacts.

Try one of these:

And throw a bitcrusher after them. That'll get you closer to the stuff at the beginning of the song. This is my preferred bitcrusher lately:

While you're at Shuriken, check out Repeatler, it will let you layer captured audio, so you can build a cool layered loop of whatever you doing at any given moment.

Audio Damage's Replicant can do something along those lines, without the delay, pitch shift, or time stretch. NDC's Buffersynth 2 is an option, although its buffer might not be long enough, but it can be coaxed into doing a lot of cool effects.

Dblue's Glitch can do a lot of the effects, but doesn't loop in the necessary way. Maybe through Dblue's Glitch after Copyshop, you'd have close to all your bases covered.

i dunno if a bitrate reducer afterwords will give the desired effect. to crunchy. i've tried to find alternatives to the kaoss pad 2, but have really come up with nothing. i was hoping to just use ableton for live performance, but the kaoss pad has become integral, its sampler is great, and editing the fx on the fly w the x/y controller has made my livesets quite a bit more performance based.
