Anyone going to the Musik Messe Fankfurt?
I wonder, if we're gonna get a new announcement from SR/IK? Or did they already unveil everything during NAMM?
I'll try to be there thios Saturday, but It's gonna be a little difficult with my 5 year old son to evaluate a new product.

Squids, do you have baby sitters at your booth?

Yeah, new announcements has been made.

Go to the IK Multimedia site, it has been updated with all the news from the Musikmesse.

Well, well, well... a nice surprise. SampleMoog and the SampleTank upgrade made my day. I can imagine the SampleMoog will be pretty expensive but I'm sure the sounds will be worth the price.
In a way, SampleTank 2.5 is a disappointment (I can't see much real improvement except for the FX) but hey, it'll be a free update so I'm not going to start bitching here in the forums.

In relation to Sampletank, I am correct in assuming that the new Sonik Instrument line is now a standardised format, so any future products will import straight in as opposed to waiting for a quick patch upgrade - ala Miroslav.

Correct. Sonik Instruments will be readable by SampleTank 2.5

So, here's what we have for SampleTank users now that the Expansion Tank series has been discontinued. For lower priced sound sets and individual SampleTank sounds you will be able to get them from www.esoundz.com as downloadable instruments and sound packs. This includes all of the best sounds from the Sonic Reality Expansion Tanks (so those sounds will still be available, just as downloads because we're practically out of the discs now... if you really want one though ask Jorge and he might be able to accomodate while supplies last).

For more deluxe expansion sets we have the Sonik Instrument line plus some other collections in the works. The prices range from a few hundred and up but the value for money is always greater with these larger sound sets... and designed to be as "worth the price" as anything else we've put out in the past.

congrats on the releases. I have to say of all the announcements i've read today, the SampleTron looks the most exciting to me at the moment. they all look wicked though. looking forward to ST 2.5

After bringing back Studiophonik you guys better be happy! Haha. I know it's more fun to talk about the new stuff but... this one is really cool too!

Anyway, yes, I am in Germany. Unt! But, they lost my luggage so I am scarooooood. I have to shop for clothes to wear each day. It is not happening. But, otherwise doing ok... might have sushi tomorrow ironically... not as good as LA or Japan though.

Correct. It runs on its own. It's a plug-in itself.

In this case you must have gotten up quite early, at least one of the days you were posting before 6am local time.
Being in Germany, maybe you should consult your co-eaters to go out for Schnitzel instead of Sushi?

And back to the first question of this thread. Do you have a baby sitter at your booth, then I can bring along my 5 year old son.

Or I'll drop him with one of these barely- dressed promo girls. He's cute, so they might like it.
