Anyone with a novation remote sl and pro tools?

I'm on a mac 10.4.9, ptle 7.3 and using the new automap.

I've loaded the pro tools hui template. When I set the hui template to use prot2 send/receive it works but I keep getting the popup "cannot communicate with HUI" which is odd, because the damn thing is working fine except for the popup which stops everything until I close it.

It looks like it's something to do with the port because the popup stops if I set the send to port 1.

am I missing something?

Did you try using all three ports?

Novation's manual is somewhat contradictory, because it says to use portB as the input and output of remote controls, yet later on in the manual it says that it uses portC.
