Just recently upgraded my rig from a Pentium 4 2.66ghz to the Core 2 Duo E6400 overclocked to 2.66 ghz and the difference is night and day. Pads that would peg out my CPU are now around 12 to 25%. It's only the third computer that I've built but seems to be a bigger jump CPU wise than my last leap from a Celeron 566mhz@850mhz to my recently retired Pentium 4 2ghz @ 2.66ghz.
Excellent chip for your host IMO.

your not wrong there, i run my studio on a laptop running a t7200 cpu 2 gig ram and its faster than my games machine an amd 4600+
laziness is nothing more than resting before you get tired.
