Searching for violin/fiddle/flute samples

Hi folks!

I'm searching for realistic or synthetic violin/fiddle and flute sounds for use in electronica styled music (Just listen to Creambase1 - "The Fiddle"). If someone knows which (soft)synth can recreate such a sound - accepted!

Just searched around and found http://www.efiddler.com/loops.htm
but want to use single or multi samples - not loops

Stradivari is without a doubt the most realist violin ever sampled. http://www.garritan.com/stradivari.html - alternatively Efiddler can do you some recordings for cheap. I've considered using him myself actually.

For the flute I don't think it gets much better than Celtic Winds http://www.beladmedia.com/celtic-wind.htm

thanks guys - since i've upgraded to cubase 4 i also got HALion One with acceptable Fiddle Flute and other Ethnic Instruments. Enough for me. So this case is closed, officer!

Not samples, but you could ty Bowin - for synthesized (hybrid analog and physical modelling) fiddle and violin sounds - it's cheap and it's versatile.

i don't know about re-creating the sounds. but here's a good site to get real orchestra sounds for free
