I'm using a Firestudio and I love it, but I got mine for 699 usd...the pres are very nice...the "mixer" is easy to understand...the unit seems to run a little warm, but that doesn't appear to cause issues...Not much more to say tbh, it does the job quite well

i have a FirePod, i am very happy with it.
great sound, plently of ins and outs and decent price.
my experiance with presonus has been very good.
i cant speak for the firestudio however, since i have never used one...

I was wondering about the under $1000 tag on the Firestudio and if that was a reflection of performance..

in my opinion...

presonus is like very very good budget gear.
if its anything like the firepod, it should be outstanding, however, not quite as good as more expensive gear...

Well I'm always looking for whats good and priced just right out there.. I already own a RME fireface that I'm happy with but I'm considering getting the Fireface 400 and was just looking at comparisons..
