depending on what you are using it for e-mu can be a very powerfull tool. but so can alot of others depending on what you are comfortable with. alot of people get a peice of equipment with visions of it doing something that it is not ment to do. e-mu is a great tool. learn it, become familiar with it, read the manual, practice. peace

I think that skin looks cool, reminds me of the Buzzroom Compressors.. I really never cared, to be honest though, I'll probabaly not change....

Just ordered a 0202 2.0. I haven't had a Creative card since the audigy(I remember the problems with XP) the specs look really good for a sub £100 USB audio device.

i 've got a 1616m. Very clear and exact sound for recording. only one headphone plug, but everyting else u need for a good homerecording session. DSP-Effects nice for monitoring, for serious applications not good enough.
Latency rather bad (bugs?).
Doesn't matter for rec/mix.
I had also a lot trouble with installing.

Nevertheless: I like it. For me only the sound counts. And the sound is great.

No latency issues what so ever. I can get it down to 4ms which is fantastic imo.
