He can compare with Vsnares. (which i'll tell you is the answer to DnB repetitiveness. Nutcase.)

Squarepusher, i heard only a few stuff of his. That guy's more 'take things and make them sound trippy' and probably layer with some heavy gabber kick.

My favourites of his come from "The Richard D. James Album" and "Drukqs" (this i personally own. very nice stuff on Drukqs.)
Oh yeah, I'll namedrop two more. mu-Ziq (aka Kid Spatula) and Venetian Snares.![]()

Some more comments with a touch of early coffee and flavoured by the smoke of a lung-opener.
Emerald - Tablet story : Outstanding ! I love the voice.
The composer of this midi file must be having a great time !
Mellotronaut - Why Rosamunde died : IMO if there's somebody here at KvR with an own easy to recognize sound, it's Mello ! "Wow", one should say, but in this case rather : "Ayaaaiiii" ! Because now we know who killed Rosamundo...
MaliceX - Ambiguous decision to kill, weirdversion : With all respect, 'cose I realize how much effort we all put in our submissions, but I'm afraid you didn't understand where the composer of this midi file was heading for.
Be carefull with those drum sounds; although in the toms break you hit them on the right place.
Serious : Holly Flipflap, born in '90 ?! Mello must be feeling the heat of your breath in his neck already.
Max, king of the dishwasher... .. .

....btw., thanks for your words, Max! It's one of the biggest compliments, when somebody says, i have an easily recognizable style. I like to have that.

Thanks for the feedback, dishwasher man. If you want, I can send you an MP3 recording of the original song how it's supposed to sound when it was made...

Hi, MaliceX, I'm the "funny joker". I was making jokes, remember you had comments on the drum sounds I used on your file !
I'm realy surprised of the quality of your composition ! I was just asking Mello, on the phone, to remember what we were doing at the age of 16...

Cheers mate,
Max... .. .

Man you guys seriously need to have some party with this polka song droning in the background. It's driving me nuts!
1:06 of RosamundP.mp3, it sounded almost exactly like one of those sounds from Mario Kart 64. (that echo-sine sounding thing.)
scotthagel - Barrelbuster? Hahahaha. I seriously can picture someone busting some caps with those lightgun arcade games while this song plays in the background. Hahaha. Rather funny, hahaha.
to MaxB: Ah I see. Sorry, I'm a bit of a heavy reader with words and sentences so it kinda got me confused. Whatever I said was in response to what I could understand from your second-last post.
to meltronaught: Double Bass. Guh. I hate that instrument. This dude at my school (a bassist but can play drums and guitar as well) managed to play the double bass as if it was an electric bass guitar sitting down... No hinderance whatsoever. @_@;

scotthagel - Barrelbuster -> #3 - Love that bass sound, works great throughout. Not digging the replacement for the 'banjo' track; that sound comes across as more percussive (thought it was a drum track at first), but tends to distract from the rhythm in my opinion. I thought the other sounds were quite suitable.
