Im in need of a VST sampler, i have tried Battery, Kontakt, Halion and all those.. but that isnt what im looking for.. I am looking for a sampler, so simple.. it only imports a wave file which is triggered by MIDI..

Im using Cubase SX 3.. any help would be appreciated.

ill check that one out, it should also be mild on the CPU, so i can run 10-20 instances of it.

Kotkas Paax, Coxco ZonaX, CyberFREE, Helios, Sam!12, Manytone 3s sampler, XS2 and Zvon Zamp are also alternatives...for pure simple SF player i ve lost the count , ill quote only Ele4Music and EVM ones..as far as i remember all these ones should be freeware or at least donationware

Yeah the Wave was almost exactly what i was looking for, but small thing like that i cant preview the samples im importing and no drag an drop, doesnt make it useful.

Same thing with the sfz, no preview of samples option

no preview of samples option
I suggest trying fastwav 2 for such needs. It's not a sampler, but it's very good at previews.

I think there is not any free sample player created in SynthEdit with support drag and drop of sample. Probably you will have hard time to find such player :(

Yeah, but when you cannot drag and drop it wont help.

Artvera: Yeah it seems like it, thanks for the help though, people.

Edit: seems like the SFZ supports drag and drop.. then im going to check out that fastwav 2 as well
