I use Wave browser and I like it. It allow to play each sample at simple click and I can move any sample into miscellaneous directory only with drag and drop.

Nice, am just using SampleCatalog now.

The sounds are getting file nicely and it even moves instead of copys when I drag and drop!! so I dont get confused.

My eyes will be pretty blurry once this is all taken care of.

I'm having a few issues moving the samples. It looked good, but when I check the folders normally, the samples are not there????

Yeah, I don't know...it did the same thing for me. I've never used it to move stuff, just to find and preview samples. Like I feared, there is no perfect option.

Oh yeah? How do you make it move stuff? I notice it has that "Work Folder"; is that it?

Well, its a bit budget in terms of functionality but. I just open, preview, drag into folder in another sample window.

I only need to hear what I am movin at this stage, but the thing is, once they are moved, the data is still in the window, it just dosn't make a sound

so that gets confusing.

all these samples are hurting my eyes

I locked at wave browser also, that would be great also as when the file is dragged it is moved not copied.

but you can only move 1 wav at a time

That's weird!

I should go through my samples sometime. Since I now use dedicated instruments like EZDrummer, I just don't use Kontakt for drums anymore, apart from the odd trigger, here and there; so I need to organize and turf as much as I can. I'll have to do that when it's slow again.

There has to be a better way. I dont really want itunes on my system.

I just have folders of stuff that I don't use because its all jumbled with different kits etc.

Its a slow journey to the top!
