Shame he doesn't use Ableton Live - Simpler is just like the name, simple.
It'd be nice as a vsti.

I think that they describe their sfz+. It has envelopes. Free sfz not. I like free sfz but I can't adjust the sample to specific pitch if I want use any sample that was not recorded in C note. So I like more some sample players with this possibility.superddman wrote:I am also looking for a very simple and CPU efficient single-output sampler with ADHSR envelopes. Also, preferably with drag-and-drop. So far the closest thing I have found is SFZ.
RGC Audio advertises on their site that this thing has AHDSR envelopes but I can't find it on the interface.

If I am right, Samplelord is multitimbral. So you can play 16 wave formats only with one instance.superddman wrote:I've tried it and indeed it's a very nice sampler but it keeps on crashing when I try to create multiple instances.

sorry i think i got the wrong model numberSubtle wrote:I tried the LM 7, and it looks like you can drop samples on it, but nothing happens when u do so.Mr. Tunes wrote:i once read ltj bukem plugging the lm-7 for cubase, and in the short blurb he mentioned how much he liked the simplicity and drag n' drop

it's the lm-4 mkII he used to endorse. but this of course is a very old piece of software and if it did have transferrable licenses you'll have to pick up your copy by posting in the kvr marketplace or something.

Well.. i didnt think of the lack of preview and drag and drop as a problem when i made this thread.mw wrote:how about the original "poster" make a complete list of features that are wanted and features that are disliked. everytime someone makes a suggestion on this post it's shot down that it does this but not that and i don't like this but i like that. there has been a lot of great samplers posted!Bernard Quatermass wrote:Do (some of) you guys even read the f**king posts before responding?

I am looking for a sampler, so simple.. it only imports a wave file which is triggered by MIDI..
Im using Cubase SX 3.. any help would be appreciated.
what I am looking for is quite simple:
VST Sampler 1 channel
Preview sample option
And not a single of the samplers being posted has the preview option, which makes it useless for me. As a second option i can drag and drop samples, but there are few who supports that option as well.
If only i could drag and drop the samples from the Cubase import audio file option, i would be set to go.

Seriously, just get Gigastudio 3 ensemble. The simplest and the most logical sampler you'll ever find. It has drag and drop waves, and even automatic wave mapping where you just select waves, and it automatically maps it in chromatic keys when you drag and drop them! Simply fabulous for creating drum kits within seconds.
Use it carefully with a tool called "Waveknife". Google waveknife. Its as awesome as it can get, and its free.
