This afternoon I sampled a steel string acoustic guitar. I recorded it into the Zoom H4 (44.1 kHz, 24-bit), so that way I could turn off all my equipment for better noise levels. Unfortunately, after recording 45 minutes worth of samples, I noticed that it had run out of space on the card. I had accidentally left the 128 meg card in rather than my 1 GB card! So it only was able to capture around 7 minutes worth of material: a good range of the sustained notes, fortunately.

So I figured I'd make it into a little mini sampleset and give it to you guys, since I haven't contributed anything free for a while.

All the samples have long sustain and have been tuned.

Here's an audio demo:

Thank you! You can never have too many things like this for layering and whatnot.

Nice demo, too!

Hey Greg
Yes.. nice Demo Track once again.
Perhaps you could mention this in our company forum also as I am sure it will be well received.
In fact, we could even make a sticky thread there to feature all your free stuff if you wish.

If the guitar had a little more content it could be worthy of the FreeZone. But maybe it could use a reference in the ManyTone forum. (a sticky thread, for example) I might have a few other tidbits to put there.

The demo track is all ManyStation, except for the subtle violin layered into the melody, which is Garritan's Stradivari.

No Wav files as the wusiksnd has them built into the file format.
You would need a converter or our ManyMapper to extract the wav files.
