No, Xhip only has half of the energon needed to make The SuperSaw.

But when the expedition mission is finished, Acidose will say if there is enough energon in those there hills.

Few months later maybe and Acidose might have a The SuperSaw.

But that is only if the Decepticons don't hinder Acidose's efforts.

The SuperSaw must be made, no matter the cost.

All Acidose needs now is a little energon, and a lot of luck.

I thought one needs to obtain the Blade of Tiesto from the Gatecrasher lion dude before attempting to manufacture Super Saw, but I don't actually know anyone who would have succeeded. There's that pink elf bitch that casts Ecstasy before Gatecrasher appears and all the characters get spellbound and fall into Group Hug... and next morning when Ecstasy is lifted the Map is gone, memory empty and it takes f**king hours to find the Gatecrasher again. Some WOS freaks say that you get Resilience to Ecstasy if you try it enough times but I've done it like hundred times and the pink bitch is always there to get me.

btw does anybody know where to find Tree of Three?

pink bitch? .jon, you dummy, if you're fighting the pink elf, then your blade of tiesto is fake, go back the the swordsmith in West villiage and Thief him for the real thing, if you have a Mage-Thief in your party you can thief him again for the 200,000 gold, but otherwise you're SOL! anyway, with the real blade the pink elf will ask to join your party--SAY NO! she'll morf into the witch of the tree, set your filter to like 60Hz and oscillator to pulse, it's pretty easy after that.

HOT TIP! on the xhip startup screen, enter the password JUSTIN BAILEY and you will get infinite MP+ potions!

select ramp as waveform.....then put the pulsewidth to 100%! = 1 superwave
in the second oscillator select ramp and again put pulsewidth to 100%....in addition put coarse to +12
in envelope section put decay/sustain to full.
now u have a motherfukkinsupersaw.

here are some patches i did just now that demonstrate the supersaw monster that is XHip. If you can't get XHip to scream, maybe you better pick up something else.. maybe colecting stamps or something ;)

I still have the problem of the notes canceling each other.
And the second filter does weird noises. :(
I think I like the new sound of the filter more. :)

you know i need patches and midi files to fix that :P

i was just trying for about five minutes and i'm unable to cause any problems with hanging notes. the waveshaper filter generates noise though because of some problem with inlining assembly macros in gcc.. i'll fix that. better than msvc/etc though which cant do this sort of thing at all.

Yeah, I couldn't reproduce the problem, I must have dreamt it. :oops:
However, I found something wrong with the sustain:

If you play the whole midi you hear only one note sounding at the end when there should be three.
Another thing that happened occasionally is that when moving the note logic slider I hear a loud pop. Sometimes a particular note acquires a strange sound and it returns to normality when you move the note logic slider. This is pretty sporadic.

i actually didnt listen to the midi yet, but i suspect this is due to the voices containing the sustained notes being stolen. if a sustained voice is stolen (all eight are already used and a new note is played) the note which was previously on the stolen voice will be completely lost. this is typical behavior for every notelogic i've ever encountered before.. there isnt really any other logical way to handle that situation. i'll listen to the midi now and make sure this is the cause though just in case it isnt.

ok, it isnt. this is due to the fact the sustain works by storing noteoff commands into a list and activating them when the sustain is released. what i'll need to do is remove the noteoff commands from the list when the notes are played again, so that the noteoff are only sent for notes which have already been released.
