this is in deed SO promising and looks SO professional ( no demo, no comment on patches, layers, multisamples, or loop information).

i mean it's samled with PROTOOLS by A PRO. now these must sound a priori better than samples taken by an amateur with an m-audio card or so. :hihi:

i would be surprised if this stuff is of good quality ( an mp3 to prove would be the least you could do). seems like the usual ebay ripoff: pay 50 bucks and you get EVERYthing you need!

Hi Abi, yeah, sorry, I forgot to write up another post. I did another thead on this guy earlier in the month.

Why am I not doing or buying this? You have to ask yourself really, I mean noone is doing anything about it.

It would be a different story if it were a pirated DVD though.

as you are in new zeland too Dayl why don't you just kidnap him for us ?

at least if he had sampled with some m-audio gear that would be worth the try as he would have taking the time to do a thing .
but this is just some samples-collection-best-off ripped off somewhere on p2p or torrent or irc bot , don't know , then brought to every donkeys that believe that they could have 4DVD of professionaly sampled instruments for 60$(when dvd collection of magix starts at 40£ though they are one of the most affordable collections known to man (i don't talk about quality here only price)).
Good lord if people like this make some money in that way , i am afraid i will not cry for their customers are they are so fool that maybe it is just in their nature to be fooled
but well oh no i stop there :x

Not to mention it's not legal to sample 'sample-based' instruments and sell them. :dog:

Post

So there should be over 5000 quality presets for 60$?

Hmm... I don't think so.

Post

Its mostly illegal stuff regardless. And if there are indeed 5000 samplesets for $60, you can bet they weren't created/processed/looped with care - that would take a single person perhaps years!

Post

Since Triton, Fantom and Motif are all sample-based, odds are this is "legally iffy" at best.
