wavecandy can customize it's colors and transparency? how?
the additions to juicepack 2.0 for existing 1.0 owners (myself included) are truly awesome and very generous.

Go to http://shop.flstudio.com/ and enter your reg code, then on the next page, click on the selection box for juicepack. The "discount-o-mat" will indicate how much it'll be. The discount amount depends on what you already own...nebulae wrote:How do you get a 37% reduction? Is there a deal for Sytrus VSTi owners?

aah, ok, I only get a $3 discount, but I suppose that's better than nothing. Perhaps I'll wait till Christmas for one of those massive sales

Well, if it means anything, I'm a FL user and the FL versions of these come free with it, but I went and bought the vst versions anyway. (And it was during the last Christmas sale, come to think of it! :P )

How would you compare the quality and CPU usage of these plugs with some of the big boys (Waves, Sonalksis, etc.)?

No. We're not going to make any new DX plugins.Vonbrucken wrote:btw will there be a DX version of the pack ?

Select the item that you want to change the color of, and then click on the color box to change it. Use the knobs below the color box to change transparency and other stuff.grymmjack wrote:wavecandy can customize it's colors and transparency? how?

Erm... I never used those and I'm sure something like the Diamond Encrusted Platinum Bundle With Gold On Top probably has a thing or two (!) that justifies the more than 10x price difference, but I think they are fine plugins. My (amateur) ears can't find fault with the sound and they're light on the cpu, plus they are really fun to play with. The only thing that somewhat bugs me is the non-standard units they sometimes use (% instead of dB, 3:24 means three and a half beats, etc.) But I haven't done anything without at least one or two of these plugins, ever since they came out.nebulae wrote:How would you compare the quality and CPU usage of these plugs with some of the big boys (Waves, Sonalksis, etc.)?

Is there any chance that Juice pack will ever work stand alone, I'd love to be able to just open it by itself and use Edison to do some nice sample slicing work.

We're considering a standalone version of Edison, maybe Wave Candy too. The others are a lot less likely.

Plus, with Wave Candy, you can display scary pictures on your screen:

The shortcut keys will work if it's standalone, yes.
