Software that creates sample programs from VSTi synths?

I think I'd still want to see what part of the sample was being looped, rather than relying on any autolooping. Although at the same time, my old E-MU e64 from way back had great autolooping.

Hey you can try this plugin that aciddose made for me called logger snagger for recording zones for sample progs. Basically you route the same MIDI as the Keyboard your trying to capture, name the instrument you intend to create then when it receives MIDI it starts recording audio with a MIDI on note then stops with a MIDI off.. It saves each "on/off" as a separate sample and names them as "samplename"001.wav ""002.wav ""003.wav etc. You can then drag each wav sample into a sampler.. I love this plugin.. It makes the process of snagging really easy..
