Monthly Patches

Dave, i just download this months patches, omly to find that in a 1mb download, all i can use are 3 Tau Pro presets

I dont own or use the other software that the patches are available for, and its the same most months.

Can you not save up all the presets to make a bank, something more worth while downloading, or, but prob more of a pain, make it possible to DL each file seperately? I dont really want to DL a 3/4/5 mb file just to get half a dozen presets.

how about -

make each months NEW presets available individually and then just have another set of files 'all ds404 patches to date' / 'all electron patches to date' / etc that is updated each month too ???

sounds fine, i mean its the DS404 files that take up the bulk of it, and as i dont use it, it seems a pain to have to DL them just for a few kbs that im going to use.

It's callled marketing. Keep seeing those patches enough and perhaps eventually you'll want to use 'em. Pretty cagey if you ask me. Got me to buy 'em.

DS404 and SR2020 are free, as are the patches, so i doubt its a marketing ploy. I think its more to do with a space thing, cos all the demos are bundled now too.

You're probably more right than I am. But after seeing all those patches for the Tau Pro and Electron in the bundles each month (and with the special offered this month) I thought it was about time I gave Muon some of my software dollars.
