attack bass

i want a nice attack bass, to understand the type of sound im trying to make go to www.basshunter.se enter<then click on the music tab< then click on Patrik Och Lillen (vifta med handerna) song sample, and it should be like 14 seconds in when it begins.

I use VStation and i can never get it deep enough or have a slow enough attack. Maybe some hints etc.?

Well, my guess is that Basshunter uses samples for all his basses. Sounds like the Vengeance samples to me. Check them out. Other than that, try using effects on the bass, such as compression and distortion. CamelPhat Free and CamelCrusher are excellent in that regard.

Sounds pretty much like a square wave, low pass filter and some pitch modulation.
I don't know VStation, you will need a nice "raw" sound for this. Try with Xhip, for example.
