Angelina Problems

Just bought Angelina and love the sound, but I'm having some issues. The latency seems terrible compared to some of my other softsynths (Absynth, Kontakt, etc). I've got a 2.5GHz P4 with a gig of ram and a M-audio Audiophile 2496 card. Where I can set latencies of 50 with my other ssynths, I've got to crank Angelina up to 100 just to get it to play without pops/clicks. And even then, when I play and move the XY pad, it pops/clicks all over the place (this is all in standalone mode without anything else running). Any ideas on how I can improve this? Thanks

That's probably because the standalone version is not supporting ASIO, but only directsound. Actually, you'll get much better performance if you use the plugin version in an optimized vst host like V-stack or chainer.

Ah that makes some sense. However, I DO also use it with V-Stack, and the latency there is proportionally long. In other words, the latency of Absynth goes from virtually unnoticeable to perhaps 120 or so. But Angelina goes from pretty bad to perhaps 1/2 second, making it really unuseful to me in V-Stack moreso than standalone.
