I would demo, and consider buying the Chandler limiter if it didn't use a iLok. I'd consider it if it used a Syncrosoft dongle...

I just changed my thinking on this (and risk factor too I suppose) and decided to get an ilok so I can demo Sony Oxford, EMI (Chandler), and a coupla other things. Otherwise I feel like I'm missing out on something. Hopefully I won't start getting blue screens or anything...

If anybody wonder I just realized that my plugins are VST SDK version 2.0... and certain hosts
won't even bother.. (I'm just a creature of habit with no bigger thought there..)

So right now the Tls-2095-LA is SDK 2.4 here on my Laptop!
But I figured that I have to update my whole work frame including at least
Pocket Limiter and Saturated driver so I'll be "gone" a little while before
any new releases is happening.

Any clues to the phase shift that happens when using the Low Punch button? It sounds awesome on some stuff but because of the phase shift it's hard to use in a mix context (it can interfere with the kick+bass combo in a song).

Once more, this compressor kicks major ass! It's become my 'go-to' "lets see what this sounds like!" experimental compressor and 95% of the time it stays on the inserts (expect some heavily over compressed music coming your way soon!).

The 2095 is great for parallel compression too! I'm just getting magical drum sounds here by mixing heavily squashed 2095 signal with original BFD output. Powerful yet lifelike! Amazing compressor Daniel!

it's a similar thing as marquis on "phasy" mode. A little group delay on the low frequencies to simulate a certain BBE-like enhancement and "punch". Just leave it off in parallel trickery.

It seems to be significantly more severe than marquis though.. anyhow, I'll try some allpass trickery.

After a certain amount of fiddling I was able to come up with a basic "enhancing" setup in electriq, that also has allpass shift at 200Hz, works with the free version, too.

usage: select all bands and alt-drag ... it's setup so that bass/treble/phase tilts will be sort-of euphonic (i.e. somewhat pleasant)

of course you can tweak single pairs

it is still an early attempt ... sort of does bass/treble tilts like f.e. bx digital (shifts there) but I used transient filters so it will sound a-like treble smear ...

anybody knows if the free electriq can have unganged L-R? I'd like to make a MS setup.

that's a great idea mausoleum. one that actually *sounds* good as well.

you need yo change replace all the "Bandwidth" comma's with periods though. otherwise they're not floats.
