Hey Guys and Gals!

(EDIT May 29th: ManyBass announced and details on page 7 of this thread)

Long time since any News from us here.... So.... I figured it was about time to give all our customers and potential customers a Heads up on what has been going on at ManyTone.

Plenty of work has been happening behind the scenes and I'll tell you all a bit about it here. I'll also post individual topics about all this once we have more to say.

1) Update to ManyOne for PC and the Demo version of ManyOne for both Mac and PC are ready to be released.
As I have not officially released these yet, If anyone would like to try the ManyOne Demo (for Mac or PC) just email me and I will send the link to you. I would like to have a few guys try it out before official release, so now is your chance to get it early. The demo is limited and only has a couple soundsets and presets. It also will not load any other soundset other than the included Demo sounds. Demo also contains a background noise burst as it is a demo and is intended to allow you to be sure ManyOne works on your system. It is hard to demo the full product as it is Sample based.

2) As above..... Any ManyOne registered Full version owner can email me for the ManyOne updated installer to try before official release. Guys.... This contains 2 new FREE incredible skins for ManyOne done for us by Aaron Jasinski ... Here is a Sneek Peek: (The Electro Skin is absolutely awesome!!!!)

3) Well if you made it this far... We have a NEW PRODUCT to announce very soon. (And Release will be shortly after announcement) All I'll say is that this is a new VST Sample Based Instrument, It Looks Incredible... It Sounds Incredible. It is about 2 gig in Size. We have been working on this for a Long TIME! It is nearing completion. It's gonna KICK ASS! Keep your eyes on the forums for the upcoming announcement. Its gonna be a BOOM ;-)

And once again, A Big Thanks to all of the ManyTone Customers for supporting our efforts!

Paul
(Greg says Hello and Thanks too ! .... Both of us have a few other Sample works on the go slated for ManyTone release also. More news on them in due time.) :-)

Nice skins! You have my permission to go ahead and tell us what the new product is. :D
If every KVR member wrote one review a year we'd have 1340 reviews each day!

Post

Those skins look pretty tasty, Paul. I'm especially liking the electro one!

Also will be looking forward to hearing what you've got coming. :)
Available on iTunes, Amazon, etc.

Post

WTF!? :x I was definitely not contacted about a new instrument being released mr. Manytone. :uhuhuh:

:hihi: :P

Skins look fantastic :D :D :D

Post

Well done, Paul. The graphics that you supplied are outstanding!

However, I'm very interested to learn if you guys have made any progress on the Kontakt2 versions of the recently released basses that were supposed to be coming down the pipe. The soundfonts that you now offer were supposed to be a hold-me-over for users that jumped on the introductory sale, if I understood the policy correctly. Your thoughts?

Post

Paul forgot to mention that the PC update changes the knob default behavior (from circular to linear; MAC was already linear) and corrects the occasional CPU spikes.
The two new skins are simply beautiful (praises to Aaron) -- same for the original skins.

I liked the fifties design of manyOne, but the electro skin is just, mwaaa :)
It's gonna fit in perfectly with my current colour scheme (can we get a similar one for manyGuitar)

And a new product? I'd better get saving then.

Post

It also will not load any other soundset other than the included Demo sounds.
My only interest in ManyOne was to try the wizards with my ManyStation, WusikStation soundsets. But the demo does not allow that. This seems like an unnecessary and much too limiting restriction.

Cheers,

:tu: Thanks to the Manytone Crew for the update. Special thanks for the knob change!
I'll be looking forward to the more info on the new 2gig addition to the family?

Your really not going to give us anymore info? :(

Hi G&L
Correct you are, and I should have mentioned about the basses for Kontakt in my above posting. I had mentioned about them in other posts in our forum though so this thread was more about the new things on the go.
I do have a version of the Upright in Kontakt uploaded and ready to go, as I posted in the other threads.
If you drop me a mail I can send you the links. I have a contact problem with the fellow who did these Kontact mappings for us (cyrosis - you about??) I also have the Ovation Acoustic Bass ready but need to finalize a few things with cyrosis first. Email me for the Upright mapping and 24 bit samples if you wish. Same goes for all other owners of the Upright that want the Kontakt version.
(These will be officially released once finalized)

Well it should still give demo users an idea as to whether it will work for them or not.
It is a demo and we have to draw the line somewhere. Surely being able to try a working demo is going to give you the knowledge to make your decision on how it will work with other sounds. Full version is still on sale for $37.95. We will hold this price until shortly after the demo is released officially. (again any mac or pc user can currently email me for the demo as the website etc. is not updated yet.)

Boom ...drums are close but not close enough .... You got the first 4 letters right ;-)

Thanks to everyone else for the comments. Again, this was just the whats up thread, we'll have more specific threads soon on the above items.
Cheers

Ya, The Electro is something Sweet! But all Credit on that goes to Aaron. His skills are really shining through here. We should see more skins from him soon... maybe even for the new upcoming product ;-)

As for our original Retro style GUI's, Berend (amoebe) is responsible for them. Usually what happens here is he and I collaborate until we have the basic look, then he goes crazy. His new skin for our upcoming new product (yet to be announced as mentioned above) reflects this Retro feel once again. It should knock you guys out!
I won't tease you too long though .... we'll post something very soon.

ToTc
:P back at ya. You be one of the first to get your hands on it when it's ready for presets.

Thanks again folks
