Hmmm... That's what I tried last night. I could only get one sample to play at the same time... Is that really all there is to it, or could I be missing something?

That's pretty much it.
I know that you have a dial-up connection and that 32 MB is a few hours download for you but maybe you should try download the multis that I posted and see if they work correctly on your system.

Thanks, Zvon. I plan to download them and try them out. I usually go to my parent's house every week, and they have high-speed, so I plan to get them then. I'll definately let you know of my results at that time. Thanks again!

But DW [when running as VSTi] has this since first version... did I missed something?I think that it might be easy to trigger each patch by one midi channel. something i was hoping Directwave would have
too many things to do and so very little time...easymode wrote:he doesnt give a f**k, obviously.

Zvon, I thought I would let you know that I am up at the university with my wife, who has a class, and I am currently downloading the file through the local WiFi. It is going to be done really soon, and then I'll be able to check everything out. Thanks again for everything, and I'll give you feedback as soon as I can check everything out.

Zvon, I finally got to check them out. Here are my results: 1. I realized that my problem with playing multis properly appears to be with the included stand-alone version. I loaded Samplelord as a VSTi into FLStudio, and I had no problem with playing the multis. They worked great. There were some sounds that I didn't care for, but the brass sounds were very successfully thickened by the layering that you did, and the brass multis sounded really good!
I have still to figure out how to set things up in FLStudio so that I can have multiple piano rolls controlling one Samplelord VSTi instance that has multiple instruments routed to different channels. Just a thought, does a single piano roll channel allow for drawing of multiple channels worth of piano-roll programming? If so, do I just use one piano roll to control all 16 channels, but route them to different mixer channels?
Is there no way to route 16 separate piano roll channels to a single Samplelord VSTi, which then can be routed to 16 separate mixer channels? I need to research this.
At any rate, thanks for everything! I will let you know more as soon as I've had a chance to check things out more.

Update: I have figured everything out, and it all works wonderfully!!!!!! I am really excited about this, and I have even set everything up as an instant template.
I set up the Samplelord VSTi, and then 16 midi out channels. I set the option for multi outs in FLS, and then I set each port and channel in each midi out to the corresponding port and channe in Samplelord. Done!

Have you tried the "Big Bang" multis with the 3 layers of percussions?

I tried them, but it was the brass that really stood out for me. It was a night and day difference with how much thicker and better they sound as a multi. I didn't get much of a chance to really get into things in depth, because I spent so much time figuring out how to get multis to work with FLS, but now that I understand everything and now that I have my templates set up and working, I will be able to go back and check things again in much greater detail soon. Thanks gain for the freebies.zvon wrote:Thanks, glad that you like them!audiojunkie wrote:...There were some sounds that I didn't care for, but the brass sounds were very successfully thickened by the layering that you did, and the brass multis sounded really good!
