it's a similar thing as marquis on "phasy" mode. A little group delay on the low frequencies to simulate a certain BBE-like enhancement and "punch". Just leave it off in parallel trickery.

I happen to love that smearing on kicks and fat snares, do you know a plugin or a method to emulate just this character?

you need yo change replace all the "Bandwidth" comma's with periods though. otherwise they're not floats.

Ya that's an "eingeneering sample" still. I think I have commas as delimiters set up here ... ? Proof of concept AKA.

Somewhat based on wheatstone bridge alikeness of Pultec bass section, and a baxandall eq wiring error I experienced in higschool some 2.+ decades ago, with the 747 dual opamp per channel (aka noisy).

Anyhow, the _cool_ transient shelves in electriq sound similar to cassete tape thing if setup in complemetaries ... if you fiddle with it in _reverse_ you can bring up snares easily.

I wonder, though if the filter position in the chain is significant _and_ whether I should place allpass pair _in_front_ of others, by manually editing the xml.

I suspect Mr.Budde earned a tiny amount of bad karma with that "phone home" thing.

Then again, the transient filter are cool enough to offset that so his karma checkout may be balanced.

i edit : now i have tryed on drums for parallel compression, and it don't make phasey effects.
But it "eat" a little bit on bass of kick drum.

Daniel, in your plugin there is PTC?

You mean PDC, Plugin Delay Compensation? I'm using the 2095 in energyXT with PDC enabled and I am not getting any phasing so if the 2095 requires compensation then it must be PDC-compatible.

Here too nothing pahsey effect, only a little bit diminuition on basses range, and i don't find the cause (in parallel limiting)

allpass 90degree phase shift would be the cause.
