How do you like it? How is it compared to using Vst Plugins?

i dont own one of these but i have used hardware and the main advantage with hardware over sofware sound libraries is the fact that you can quickly scroll through sounds and find what your looking for with out having to worry about load time. sure some vst's have better sounds... but none have great sounds with no load time.... if your worried about price then just get a rack and a midi... i have a m-audio prokeys 88sx and i love it... hope this helps

have a Fantom X and recommend it to play on its own and to use as a master keyboard to play plugins, it is very versatile and easy to use, sounds are great too.

I use it for everything, as a master keyboard and as sound player, the fantom owns a lot of Sounds for different genres, everyone will find a lot of useful sounds and if you miss something, you can add Expansion Boards...
