hi,

i'm searching for a Free VST-Host with external Midi-Clock synchronization.

It seems that Cantabile does not have this feature.

i found a host: MiniHost but the synchronized metronome in my VST-Instrument doesn not run constanat. sometimes faster, sometimes slower clicks. irregularly is maybe the right word.

take a look on Usine at www.sensomusic.com.
A set of midi-clock synchronization is available as add-on.
Or you can built your own...

Latest VSTHost version should be able to handle that, it's hidden in the Remote Control settings. If we're talking about MIDI Start/Stop/Continue/Clock messages, that is. VSTHost does its best to create a steady BPM rate from incoming clock signals (averaging over a variable number of clock signals, based on the current speed), but this tends to become a bit flakey beyond ~160BPM (deviation of 0.2).
