hello all
anyone got any URL for this oldie?
i think i can almost recall their old homepage working like one yr ago, but now no link, nor the latest, nor the older , are working anymore...
another for the abandonware forthcoming site? ;P
damn....it was sounding good that one...they also used to give a decent reverb for free available on their site
doh!

ahh thanx...Grenade indeed had some glorious fat sounds for leads...i heard myself 1.5 was buggy, thing that 1.1 wasnt as far as i heard...
so, anyway , another brand disappeared?

okie..sorry i didnt realize before about Grenade, damn..although you already said that last versions were having loads of problems, as far as i understand..
maybe ill find some that will find out some old floppy with the archive and the license on it willing to sell it for a couple of beers fee ;P
another one for the impossible WTB thread i guess hehe

Kriminal: yep brasilian guys, MIA since long time on the vst side...a shame because grenade IMO was very promising considering HOW LONG ago it has been developed..also more than else they definitely threw in some powerful leads and basses...
when i installed this old demo i found in a uberold cdrom of backup of AGES ago ( i think i had still my first pc or maybe the second)i thought it was the usual cheapish average synth of late 90s software, then some leads kicked my sox off

hence, the haunting

the one installed is 1.1 and so far its acting nice on cpu and not having crashes at all...once again, i heard myself nasty comments about 1.5 as ttoz pointed out..
the problem of getting in touch with devs disappeared years ago def tickles me about illegal options

i need to start haunting down the retired devs and ask them permission to host their discontinued products for free on a vapourware-dedicated site ;P

Yeah, I remember this guy...was working with him on a major update to grenade some time ago, then he disappeared.

Not sure what happened to him.

Hi everybody
Hey! I am really happy to see that there still are some people interrested in Grenade

I remember someone contacting me about the synth ... but I was short of time ...
But now I am entering vacations

(3 years without it) ... and I am interrested in recompiling it and releasing it as a freeware ...

I dont know if I the steinberg website have any problem becouse I tried to register a 'third party developer' account in order to donwload the new vst3.0 sdk ... and I was unsucessfull in 3 attempts ... (if anyone have a direct download link I would be happy) ...

There are some problems ... I dont think I have a code of the 1.1 version of grenade :p ... so I'll have to fix change the 1.5 to compile something like the 1.1 (and I dont know if it will sound the same, but probably yes)

And I want to thanks everybody that helped to develop it at that time! (sorry if I miss someone)
* If I remember well TotcProductions helped making the presets .
* Kriminal made the demo song ...
* DMI helped in the interface code .
