I have started a sound design blog where I plan to periodically post free samples, loops and tutorials on how to make the sounds. It's primarily geared towards experimental programming and processing techniques but I'll probably end up spanning a pretty broad range of styles.

On this page you'll find a link labeled "Processed Beats", it's almost 149MB acoustic and electronic drums that have been destroyed in various ways. These are old sounds that I just wanted to get out, so they're really just a taste of what's to come.

I had a quick listen and heard quite a few "classic breaks" that were glitched up a bit.

These are drum loops I created that didn't go anywhere. I don't remember how I made them and no longer have the projects they came from. Use them if you like.

Don't think they'll have any restriction from Justin, but as far as the source material goes I wouldn't know...

Most of the samples I used are from sounds I created, many of them from recording sessions that I did. There are break beats that I took from sample CDs that I own. I'm pretty sure that the samples from the sample cd's are royalty-free. I wanted to be pretty sure that I had the right to distribute this stuff to cover my own ass. I give consent to use the files that I posted however you wish.
