seriously though I am reallypleased to see that i have a couple of votes already especially as my attempts to cram it in to 2 minutes were so obviously flawed..

I find it fascinating to see the variation in voting, it underlines just how different everybodies musical tastes are, on this forum..

Well, they (the frookin Contest POLICE) wouldn't let me vote for Ian three times, so I went for two...

...but some 'Do-Gooder' had to rat me in...

Well expect another - I sat mesmerised by this - it took me back to the ISB - who didn't seem too fussy about things like that (fine-tuneing the 'bum notes').

In the end music is about connection - not perfection (I think I just made up a soundbite

).

Thanks for that. ISB were always something different. My daughter has just recently been to a local gig (in a little church hall) by Robin Williamson, who is now just roaming about being the troubadour that he always has been. She was truly enchanted by his delivery, story-telling and virtuosity on a whole range of instruments.
