It's hard to tell for sure from that little quote but I'm assuming that he is using FLS as a sonar drum machine. I agree that the drums could use some beef but it's great to hear what he is getting done with such a small selection of stuff.

Absolutely, great job. It just makes me want to ring them and pull a Chris Lord-Alge on them.

Don't worry just buy one cheap on ebay and if you don't like it for some reason pass it on... Easy...

BTW you can't go wrong, all of this is good stuff. I have a 24/96 and a 0404. The others are all fine products too but the Toneport's software, inputs, preamps, mostly easy setup and low cost is too much bang for the buck to ignore. The best part for me is the stupid top mounted volume and headphone control, go figure.

It's so easy to trade musical equipment on ebay sometimes I wonder how pawn and second hand shops are doing. I never go looking anymore but I used to like it.

Go for it! That would be awesome.. How much could it cost to fly in two people from Norway and cut a disk? I'd buy it.

Well guys just to let you know, I got the toneport last week. It basically owns. Hard.

Zero latency even in my old rig (have yet to try it on my new monster one). Setup as easy as 1-2-3, no problems whatsoever. I have to experiment with it a little bit more when I have the time next weekend, but surely this was an amazing buy! Haha!

The soundcard has nothing to do with recorded sound quality if you are using Vst instruments.

What - you know they're recording on a Toneport?

Well... parts of it. I don't know how much. They are a VST band. Cool huh!!

Though, it does say that the guitars are Line6 Toneport.

I was just pointing out that the soundcard doesn't have anything to do with the sound quality of Vsti music.

Not entirely true - if you are adjusting the perameters in the VSTs you need to be able to hear exactly what you are changing.

Good Soundcard for ~$100?
