I have a bunch of great mikes but just recently learned the benefit of using a mic pre. I just picked up a focusrite voice master on the cheap, ( not the pro ). And I'm new to using these and have no manual, and can't locate one on line. I would appreciate any pros, cons or advice for this unit.

Got an avalon 747 for serious vocal work, but I sometimes grab the old voice master just for its sound. For example, I like what it does to acoustic guitars and as a DI for electric bass.
