Hey y'all hows it going? I have been wondering if anyone could use the soniccare toothbrush sound as an oscillator in a wavetable synth. lol I have one ($140 Toothbrush) :shock:

anyhow.. . i wonder if it might be possible as the sound that the toothbrush makes is really... unique.

I personally think it would sound good for something, It is audible.

:shrug: Record it...cut it down 1 or 2 cycles, and save the cycles as a wave file. See what happens. :) Load it up in a free sampler and slap a filter on there, see how it responds.

That's not gonna work too well me thinks. :( There'll be too much noise in the background, and when you zoom in to cut the waveform down, the noise'll be stuck in there and ruin the waveform. hehe, if only they made that toothbrush USB capable. :P

Once you knew the frequency you could average many instances of it. That should get rid of any noise that isn't the same frequency as the brush.

And dude, a guy doesn't have to be gay to use a vibrator. He can press it against ladyparts, can't he? I just mentioned it because when my wife got one, she turned it on and started laughing. I think she said, "wow."
