Does anyone know of a good 76 or 88 note controller that doesn't have piano style keys and that has aftertouch ?
I have an upright piano and although I love the keys, I find that in a production environment, non-weighted keys with aftertouch are more versatile.
Any thoughts ?
I already have a 61 note keyboard and I am not satisfied enough with 61 notes. I really need at least 76 since I play piano too.

the pcr800 has synth action keys with aftertouch, plenty of nobs and buttons as well. I have one and i can heartily recommend it.

For anyone that is interested, I looked into dedicated 88 note controllers with hammer action (there are none with keyboard action available). I ended up with the CME pro range and the M-Audio range.
I have read a lot of bad stuff about the M-Audio keystation pro so it was out of the question. I went to check out the CME in a store and it was a toy. The touch was absolutely terrible. I have a professional upright piano right here and I can tell you .. that certainly is not a piano touch.
I then went around the store trying others and as soon as I played the Roland RD700SX (I used to play a RD500 while learning which my teacher had let me borrow), I remembered why Roland are kings. The touch was superb, it felt exactly like an acoustic grand.
So now, I'm searching for a good condition second hand RD600 or similar.
When I commented about the CME, the guy at the store said ... "What do you expect, it's just a controller keyboard?" ... that comment confused me quite a lot, is it implied that a studio controller should feel like crap ? :S
The Roland stuff has no controller send knobs or fades but it feels like a real piano which is all that matters to me.
Hope this assists anyone that might be looking at a similar item
Cheers

And just a final note here (once again, if anyone is interested). I just bought a used Roland RD600. It destroys the CME for touch and build quality. It's absolutely sexy too, looks superb!
