On AMPEG svx.......why o why, didn't the "powers that be" include outboard fx like eq, etc......like amplitube or the "eventually" comming JHE......? (like the parametric eq/eq's.....)

You have EQ in Ampeg SVX. But, anyway, why this or that wasn't included is not my call. I don't make the plug-in. I sometimes send over gear to be modeled because I am a gear-head. But, I didn't for Ampeg SVX.

Other than rack preamps, what rack effects did Ampeg ever make? To be honest with you I can't recall any rack effects that Ampeg ever made for Bass. Since IK and Ampeg were partners in this venture, my guess is that they wanted promote only virtual versions of genuine Ampeg products.

The reason I asked is that it had seemed in the past that you were closly tied with that end, certainly not trying to ruffle your feathers

Guys sorry for the stupid question (I'm italian and I can't understand all the meaning in of all words in english language), the question is this: Crossgrade means getting the full version of the software at a reduced price, Have I understood right? Thanks in advance for the answer.

Yup...just mean that in the case of IK, you have to have the product that qualifies for the crossgrade registered.

It's a different bar code on the box, that's all.

Well, whatever the original Ampeg had, the demo does a great job of adding mud to your bass tracks

And to MauroR - yes, crossgrade means you get a reduced price on the product, because you own a previous version of the product, own a product by the same company, or own a product by a company that is in partnership with the seller.

Hope that makes it a little more clear.
