To celebrate the release of my new album I've created a remix pack for I've got the love.

it's large at 188mb as it's all 24bit tracks. Would be great to hear what people can do with it. :)

Checking out 2nite Glooper and I will attempt something.

Just to save me a bit of work what key is the song in?
Athlon 3800+ x2, 1 gig ram, 200gb SATA
Terratec 24/96 sound card, ATI all-in-wonder x600 graphics card, Windows XP Home SP2, Steinberg Cubase SX2, Reason 2.5

Ben, just for the fun of it, I downloaded the files - they're all of different length and you can't see whether they're mono or stereo either, when converting them with dbpoweramp.
In the end they might be very difficult to line up properly. Any further information and/or link to your original mix?

they should all be the same length sascha... :?... I think I used monkey audio to compress them... It should be a case of just adding all the tracks to hear the original mix (pre mastering)...

I'll do an mp3 conversion this evening though when I get back to work to give you the original version.

I think with mp3 things could even get worse... it seems to me mp3 can contain arbitrary offsets at the beginning.

Ape (monkeysaudio) does not change wavs, only packs them.

they are the original 24bit wavs... (hence why the file is so big) so should be none of the mp3 madness...

Ok, it was the different size of the APE files that got me confused. After de-compressing them, they seem to have the same length indeed. Yet, the APE files don't tell you anything about mono/stereo, so I can only assume that, for instance, the drums are stereo, the bass mono, etc...

can't remember to be honest sascha.. I did that pack a few months ago... I just un-aped them and dragged them all onto cubase and it sorted out the tracks automatically... I'm at work at the moment so can't find out from here what they are either... and I can't remember the BPM either!... I think it was standard house/disco BPM though (whatever that is!) bonte might remember
