Hey Folks,
Checking out the Amplitube Jimi Hendrix Leslie edition. Very, very nice. I do wonder, though: is the leslie the same as the one in Amplitube 2? Could just be the eye candy, but at first flush it seems to be better....

Hi Squids,
It sure would be interesting to know that.
The poor quality of the leslie in AT2 is the only major flaw I can see

Well, even if it is better (which you can try out for yourself with the demo), I still don't think the ULTIMATE Leslie has been made in software yet. Some day I hope it will be. There's all sorts of different ones too. The 122 and the 147 are the ones I want the most but the Vibratone is cool and some others.

Hey Squids,
I agree with you - I'm a sucker for the sound.
Although not the ultimate, NI's leslie is the best I've heard to date (by far). I'd be thrilled if (when?) IK's matches or exceeds that.
Btw, I must give you props! Before AT2 was released I was sceptical that it would be a step up from Guitar Rig 2. After having lived with it for a while I have to admit that to my ears AT2 is far better (though Guitar Rig has some very good effects, and I really like the mic models and greater variety of micing options).
